Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification Course in Italian

We are living in a particular historical moment, in which the traditional teaching and training methods are being constantly challenged by the relentless disruption. To be on par with this development perspective, SSMI Europe too wants to adapt to the new era of Digital Training. We want to be increasingly present and close to our customers by improving our courses and making them more accessible. In addition to the Global Belt Registry archive, we present the Italian version of the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification course.

Here is a short interview with Carlo Russo of SSMI Europe, about the newly launched Italian version of the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification course. Carlo is overseeing the adaptations and translations of Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt program into various European languages.

Interviewer (Q1): What do you think are the strengths of our newly launched Italian version of the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification course?

Carlo Russo: Surely, interdisciplinary in the first place... The program is vast and explores all the various management issues… A real all-round training that ranges from statistical notions to resource management and from advice on team work to deeper statistical analysis.

Interviewer (Q2): In this regard, I would like to ask you, what are the difficulties you encountered during the adaptation and translation of the training course into Italian?

Carlo Russo: One of the many qualities of Dr. Harry was the immediacy and the simplicity of his way of communicating. Simplifying extremely complex concepts into clear and simple ideas is a truly remarkable talent. He often quoted a phrase from Einstein: "If you can't explain it in a simple way, you probably did not understand it well enough".

And that was the same challenge we encountered. We had to figure out ways of explaining complex concepts in simple and comprehensive Italian language. It was certainly not easy but we can guarantee that we fully respected the direct style of the founder.

Interviewer (Q3): I would like to ask if the finished product has any substantial differences in comparison with the original version?

Carlo Russo: Absolutely not. The respect we have for the original work has kept us on track without any deviations from the original. The final result is not different from the English version and I am sure it will be fully appreciated by our Italian customers.

Interviewer (Q4): What are the next language editions that will be published?

Carlo Russo: We also plan to release the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification course in Romanian and Russian very soon. In addition, adaptations and translations of Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt programs in Italian, Romanian and Russian are underway. Also at present, our Yellow Belt, Green Belt and Black Belt programs are already available in English and Spanish versions.
